"Present Promise, Future Hope" was the title of Michele's sermon. Michele announced before giving her sermon that she would not give the full sermon because of time considerations. She suggested that the core focus of the service was the introductions and music given by the esteemed Philadelphia Orchestra violinist Booker Rowe.
