Children PreK through grade 2 are invited to attend the opening of the 11:00 a.m. worship service with their families. At 11:15 a.m., teachers take them to their Church School classes. Age-level groups of 6-10 children learn about faith using the innovative, ecumenical "Seasons of the Spirit" curriculum resource. Lessons have a strong emphasis on worship, service, and justice in close connection with the stories of the Bible. The Bible stories studied each week come from the Revised Common Lectionary, which means that they are usually the same readings used in the worship service, connecting parents' experience in worship with that of their children in Church School.
