A fun, dynamic, mixed voice ensemble provides music for regular worship services from September through June and presents special choral programs several times each year. Membership is open to all. Higher Ground Choir
Higher Ground worship services will be held four times this year. The worship features an electric band and an energetic choir doing contemporary songs from the likes of Stevie Wonder, Prince, Aretha Franklin, the Beatles, Jill Scot and much more. The Caring Connection is FUMCOGers giving short-term support to church members dealing with surgery, illness, family emergencies, etc. We provide basics such as meals, transportation to doctor’s appointments, help with essential errands, and companionship – calls, cards, and visits. We need your help! You can become a FUMCOG CC volunteer by completing a questionnaire located on tables around the church and returning it to the church office. Also, please be sure to call our Caring Connection Coordinator, Carolyn Cosline if you or someone you know could use assistance!

The Library committee provides FUMCOG members and friends with a lending library of current books that enhance and encourage a spiritual journey. The library is readily accessible to all; it is located in a kiosk in Pilling Hall. Contact Pat Squire
The Archives group collects, organizes, and catalogs the materials of the church. We make the historical documents, photos and artifacts available for the church and the public. Contact Jean Walker.
